Carmelo Morello Studio is a space that the designer himself loves to describe as a large wardrobe, a “fabulous” closet from which to draw inspiration, imagining old men’s blazers turning into beautiful Paletots, silk shirts transforming into gorgeous dresses. A creative lab, a place where elegance is shaped through our outfits, characterized by a sophisticated and eclectic aesthetic, a perfect balance between tailoring tradition and modernity, delicately touching the boundary between masculine and feminine garments. We celebrate the uniqueness of our pieces, the result of continuous research aimed at materials and shapes, merging sharp geometries with smoother lines.

Fall Winter Collection 2024/2025

The collection draws inspiration from mid-century Japanese school uniforms, reinterpreting their iconic details.

“Small uniform jackets, pleated ‘kilt-style’ skirts for girls, and starched collars adorned with delicate ruffles and trims become timeless signature elements.”
A silhouette shaped by redefined oversized volumes and geometric cuts, softened by more enveloping forms, all highlighted by tailoring techniques and sartorial craftsmanship that define its identity.

Structure and fluidity are the key concepts of this collection, characterized by a rigorous aesthetic and sophisticated image. Premium fabrics such as tweed, wool and cashmere checks, Japanese denim, and fluid silks paired with shirting cotton poplin lend the garments their elevated character.

The color palette ranges from dark shades, such as navy blue and anthracite gray, to vibrant accents like the bright green tweed and grosgrain or velvet trims framing collars and pockets.

These are balanced by softer tones, such as ivory silks and sky-blue shirting, creating a harmonious blend of classicism and modernity.
